Project Overview
The Sunken Gardens are an iconic feature found within the city of Lincoln, Nebraska. It’s well known for its marvelous arrays of flowers and their annual garden themes. The residents of Lincoln enjoy the beauty and tranquility the environment has to offer. However, the Sunken Gardens wishes to create a new identity that encapsulates the alluring and peaceful nature the gardens contain. Doing so will attract more people to check out the Sunken Gardens and learn more about the events and opportunities they have to offer as well.
Project Goals
As I designed the pieces for this project, I had to keep in mind that everything had to feel cohesive but also pretty to look at in some cases. Flowers and nature are adored by all, so the pictures and illustrations used throughout the project had to resemble a sense of beauty. The colors picked out were meant to have an earthy feel to them and the typefaces needed to appear friendly.

Perception and Tone
This new identity design will have a pleasant and charming aesthetic to it, while also feeling benevolent and inclusive.

Components
All the basic information on the gardens would be found in the website designs. Any other element would appear throughout the city or in the premises of the garden itself.
